Swe Kyin medical hall is founded by Traditional Medical Practitioner Sayar U Tin Aung Kyaw. He got his Bachelor of Science (Geology) Degree in 1980. After that, he started pursuing his hobby which is Myanmar traditional medicine while working as a representative of a Japanese company. He studied at the AVIDAHMMA (Taung Thar) Myanmar traditional medicine University. After studying for 4 years, in 1984, he started to treat patients for free as a charity work and became successful. So he quit his job and became a full time Myanmar traditional medical practitioner and continued to study and treat patients. When he treats his patients, he used some medicines which have been passed down in his family for generations which are used in the Royal Palace specifically for the King and Royal Families by the Royal Physicians. In 1993, he passed the exam held by the government to promote the skills of Myanmar traditional medicine.
